Chinese New Year or Asian

010439010441010440

I know just call me your Highness …. oops, what I really mean is your Lateness.

My DT card this week sure looks oriental but not 100% convinced she is Chinese, which is the theme for this weeks challenge at Sentimental Sundays, we would like to see Chinese New Year – Celebrate Asia for your projects.

Oh no what am I like, just Googled Geisha and the image is definitely Japanese, the Chinese equivalent is known as YI JI or Qinglou Nuzi …. don’t quote me …. quote Google. Anyway, whatever, she is definitely Asian which counts, also don’t forget to pick up your freebies while entering for the challenge, sorry girls another reminder is for you to use a sentiment on the project.

No prizes for guessing what the stamp is called …. just in case you couldn’t guess …. Geisha …. it is by a company called Hobby Art, Surrey, which is only a few miles from where my son lives in the UK. Coloured with water colours, also added lots of gems to the middle of the flowers, stamped out 6 fans and made 2 butterflies with 4 of them. Haven’t got a clue what the writing says but I’m hoping it’s not rude.

Entering for:
The Stamp Man – Oriental
My Sheri Crafts – Asian/Chinese New Year

    Hi Shirl
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and becoming a follower.
You asked a question about my blog name – it came about around 10 years ago, when I started making and selling cards, and needed something to call myself, and it was Flissy Cards. My lovely tortoiseshell Persian cat had died, and she was called Flissy – short for Felicity dah dah dah …. and so it stuck.
Thanks so much for your interest.
    Love
    Valxx
