Lady In Blue

This is the little project I promised to show which my sweetie of a SIL Irene taught me how to make … eh this is not exactly the one Irene and I made … think I left the original at Clare’s house!!!!

Printed off lots of Victorian lady images then edged with gold embossing powder.

I know I said yesterday that I had not used pink … well the pictures don’t count because they are already coloured.
Can you guess what we used … it’s a recycled envelope … so cool eh. Very very easy to make but only when someone shows you how … Thanks I.

Stitched down the middle to make two pockets and with this version I cut off the flaps because of the lace on the tags.

Guess who couldn’t find any decent envelopes to use, Irene had some beautiful Stampin Up ones which worked really well so I used the Craftwork Cards Envelope Template and made my own. Much better because I was able to stitch on the lace at the front then covered with paper on the inside before putting together. In the original we made a ribbon tie to close but I have put magnetic dots inside so it closes beautifully

This is just gorgeous Shirl, and the tags finish the whole thing of beautifully. Cutting the top of the envelope is a brilliant idea, why didn’t I think of that.
    Have a good weekend.
    Irene xx
