Fliss gave us this challenge and who can resist flowers and more flowers … no one … Fashionable Stamping Challenges would love to see your flowers this fortnight.
I have made a mini album from 2 pieces of 12 x 12 paper but because I was so late taking the photos the inside ones didn’t come out so good, will have another go in daylight.
Can you see that huge white flower taking up the whole of the front … who said what flower … this was cut with the TH Tattered Florals die in vellum, stamped with versamark then embossed with white embossing powder. The little bird is a retired Stampin Up stamp and the paper was stamped all over with script.
Can I remember where I got the romantic freebie image from noooo … I just hop around and find things but usually I file everything neatly away in a folder and label where it came from but not this one. Printed onto canvas paper which gave it a gorgeous look almost like a miniature oil painting and inked edges. Downsized the image of the pretty lady, printed her also onto canvas then die cut with a postage stamp die.
The teemies have all made really delicious creations for you to get some inspiration for your projects so why not pop on over to have a look.
Just beautiful Shirl, another of your gorgeous, vintage, feminine designs. I love all the elements that have come together on this.
Hugs Brenda xox
Hi Shirley…
That tattered flower in the middle is just beautiful!!! There is such a vintage feel to this album. lol ~ how is it a mini album though when it is 12 x 12 ??? And the image on the linen paper looks great, like it is actually on material. Can’t wait to see the rest Shirley.
I hope all is settling down after a hectic few weeks for you.
