Not sure what the weather is like where you live but where I am things are definitely turning those delicious Autumnal tones. Our super sweet teemie Avril picked the theme this fortnight at Fashionable Stamping Challenges and it just had to be Autumn colours.
Autumn brings to mind my childhood days of wearing wellington boots, walking in the road by the kerb and kicking those beautiful, crisp and colourful leaves into the air. Not sure our grandchildren can do that nowadays with all the traffic about!!!
As usual my card evolved totally not the way I wanted it to. Leaves were going to be my focal point but when I saw this stamp lurking on my shelf an image came to mind of a genteel young lady playing the piano nestled in a bay window and looking out at the Autumn weather.
Pop on over to the main page at FSC and see what all the lovely teemies have made and remember Flonzcrafts wil be giving the winner $20 to spend at his store.

Shirl, a wonderful creation with the amazing stitching you achieve, and the great fraying in the fabric to produce texture. LOVE those vibrant colors and pretty curled edges. hugs, de

Love those dimensional curls of paper framing the piece, and the little hit of plum is wonderful as one of the autumnal hues. Gorgeous image too…
