My last card as Guest Designer for Oldie But A Goodie, I have so enjoyed searching through all my old stamps to use on my cards. Mr Snowman is another that I have not used for a long long time, he is from Stampendous called Snow Lights. The challenge this week is Christmas Birthday which worked out well because a friend has a birthday coming soon so guess what card she will be getting. Made another Z fold card …. fave at the moment the sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs.
A late DT Sentimental Sundays post and also combining with being a Guest Designer for Creative Inspirations. Have to do both together because really behind with my cards …. but oh so not my fault …. what did we do before we had the telephone and internet because I didn’t realise how much I used both until they weren’t there, three days without.
Had lots of the fluffy white stuff on Saturday and also thunder and lightning …. yep that’s what I said thunder and lightning. I would love to know if anyone else has seen this before because it sure looked spooky to me …. and to cap it all I had just seen the film 2012!!!!!
Back to the challenge at Sentimental Sundays it’s a recipe this week and we would like to see your creations with 3 designer papers, 3 buttons and some ribbon. There is also the freebie sentiments for you to collect and they are from Jeanet this week. The prize, if you win, is four individual sentiment sets from Raindrop Echo Designs Whimpsy Stamps Digital Collection and also a custom watermark/Signature set from the Custom Designs at Whimpsy Stamps. The beautiful image on my card is called Sapphire Holly Fairy and she is an adorable digi stamp bought from Make It Crafty don’t you just love those wings, used lots of glitter on them but for some reason not showing very well. Coloured with water colours and used lots of liquid pearls and fluffy stuff for her dress. Papers are Basic Grey, Eskimo Kisses and the delightful sentiments from Raindrop Echo Designs, ribbon and snowflake buttons from stash.

Corry chose the theme this week and I can see why, with only a few more weeks to go until the big event what better way to get everyone in the mood than with a gift.
Isn’t he the cutest Polar Bear, couldn’t resist using him for my gift, stamped, embossed then cut him out and placed onto a nestie mat. Added marshmallows to the cellophane bag and added the naughty but nice sentiment.

That time again sweeties for my DT card at Sentimental Sundays, the challenge is Thoroughly Thankful (+ sentiment). As usual there is a fantastic freebie up for grabs and also the winner will receive four individual sentiment sets from the Rainbow Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection and a custom watermark/signature set from the Custom Designs at Whimsy Stamps.

Wow, bit of a struggle fitting six TH letters onto a 3×3 card …. anyway sweetie you know what they say …. better late than never.
Decided on a tag for my 2nd time as guest designer at Oldie But A Goodie …. the beauty of joining all the lovely DT girls this month is …. I get to mooch around my neglected stamps …. to enter the challenge your main stamped image has to be 6 months or over …. the challenge this week is Glitter. All the DT girls cards are so inspirational, as usual, so please go visit them.
Oh so naughty of me to have left this beautiful stamp to gather dust, from the lovely Joanna Sheen, and have not used it in years . Stamped onto acetate, turned it over and started the process of glue then glitter, glue then glitter …. quite time consuming …. but oh so worth the effort, best to leave overnight to dry.
For the tag I stamped the lady and a flourish, these are more recent purchases, added touches of glitter, little pearls, flowers then attached the glittered dress with Pinflair Glue Gel.
Still in my pinky/purplish soft and floaty mood.
When I first saw Sentimental Sunday’s Challenge this week – Childhood (+ sentiment) …. thank you Dorcas …. my immediate thought was something dreamy, floaty, whimsical and then I found this delightful image here which I knew was just perfect for Childhood …. nothing like floaty with those colours …. but I love it.

Please also take a stroll and meander into your own childhood with all the delightful and inspirational work from the other teamies …. just gorgeous, especially the use of their sentiments. When reading them I felt that really feel good factor of times gone by in my own childhood.
Feel all gooey and content at the moment but down to earth and my card …. really like making these Z fold cards, you just open the card out, score down the middle on the front panel and fold back …. easy peasy …. Bob’s your uncle, Fanny’s your aunt etc., …. decorate as normal. Coloured the image using pro-markers and the papers are from Basic Grey and K & Co.

Another digi image which I bought from Tickled Pink Stamps from a collection called Lil Lolita and Lil Lads this image is called Lucas …. one cool dude or what.
The other gentleman beside him is from a set of stamps by Hero Arts called Exclusive Vintage Collection. Just thought he went so well with Lucas …. like his dad or something, OK prattling, embossed him with white powder so he stood out a little …. a lot.
In love with making half fold cards at the moment …. this one isn’t a half fold but I did cut off some of the edge.

At last another Christmas card only another …. well too many to count but I shall keep plodding on. This is a new stamp that I bought when I went to the RDS in Dublin, just couldn’t resist her. She also came with a couple of sentiments …. added one to the tag …. and lots of snowflakes. Coloured her with water colours, added lots of flower soft, then cut her out and finally attached to a tag. I love tags …. if I had my way I would put one on every card.

Lots of new things happening at the moment with Sentimental Sundays …. we are going to be choosing a top 3 in future …. with a nice new blinkie …. we have 3 new DT co-ordinators, Ceal, Cheryl and Kimberly …. last but not least all these lovely ladies have been promoted to Senior DT members – Ann E, Annika, Chris and Joanna …. well done girls and sooo looking forward to sending you all my problems starting with …. I have this spot on my …. oh …. you mean only problems with the challenges …. spoilsports.
Jokes over, the DT’s have really pulled out all the stops with their work and such a winning mixture of creations they have come up with, please stroll on over here …. take a cup of coffee …. and look at all their stunning work.
As you know I’m not a lover of sketches …. can’t seem to keep to them …. but this one is a doddle, so if I can do it anyone can …. what’s that you say, doesn’t look the same …. yeh, I kinda turned it a little but only a little.
Now you want to know why the card is sooooo vibrant …. went to my usual monthly gathering with all the girls and took a page full of new digi images from Tickled Pink Stamps …. Lil Lolita & Lil Lads …. but only intended to colour in the faces, hence only had flesh coloured pro-markers. Had time on my hands so one of the ladies offered to let me use some of her markers …. she only had a few primary colours. Started to colour in and found it quite hard …. when you only have a limited supply to hand. Anyway waste not want not …. so here she is.
It is trust me ….
Yippee it’s that time again poppets for the Let’s Ink It Up Challenge and for the first time you have a whole month to complete …. good news eh it means you can …. start it, leave it, start it, leave it, start it …. going dizzy now …. as long as you enter by the 30th November . What is the challenge you say …. Recycle It …. could be all the project or just part, it is entirely up to you. Please please remember no digi stamps allowed.

This adorable little birdhouse is made with the end of a toilet roll tube …. washed and sterilised the roll first …. no really …. and what goes hand in hand with toilet roll …. newspaper of course!!!! and that is what the cone roof is made of. Used lots of the TH inky stuff …. my fingers looked as if I was a 60 a day smoker by the time I was finished but who cares when you’re having fun. Threw lots of glimmer mist over the hand made flower and for good measure threw it over the desk as well …. ooo what fun I was having, started running around the craft room singing …. OK muttering a few choice words I spilt it.
