Coffee Time

Coffee break at Fashionable Stamping Challenges and giving you a chance to have a sneak peak at what we Fashionettes drink.

COFFEE & CREAM WITH DARK CHOCOLATE

Yummy yummy, my fave is a Latte, if you want to see what all the other Fashionettes love to drink just pop on over and have a peek and why not have some fun with this challenge.

Taking a little break myself next week, hopping on over to the UK to see all the family … and to watch lil ole Aldershot play Manchester United. My card has been made for my SIL Irene because while home we will be having crafting play days with lots of coffee … yahoo.

Really went to town and used lots of stamps for this card …
Coffee Cup – Freebie from Craft Stamper Magazine
Bird and Clock from Stampin Up
Rose from Kanban
Little Birds and Letters from – Tim Holtz
Pocket Watch – Can’t Remember

Girly Girl

Who doesn’t love Girly Girl as a challenge theme …
you can be as frivolous as you want with your creative side …
diamanté buttons, lace, ribbon, sequins, sparkle, pink wherever your mojo takes you is fine by us.

Jada screamed girly to me so no colouring this time only paper piecing, left her skin with no make-up or spray tan … a very pale English Rose 😀

If you would like to see her in all her glory … make-up and spray tan included … pop on over to see the beautiful creations the other DT’s have created.

Don’t forget, if Girly Girl is not your thing, then you can still enter the challenge using any Little Miss Muffet stamps image
(then you get to use the theme Anything Goes)

Anything But A Card

This fortnight at Fashionable Stamping Challenges we want to see

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

My project is this pizza box I have made with a shaker lid and inside I made a post it note book.

Have given the see through acetate lid … the “Woman’s Face” is stamped with StazOn black ink … a double layer of acetate so the micro beads cling and form pretty patterns. Inked the edges with TH Victorian Velvet then used it on various stamps which I randomly used for the background paper and lady also added some very pretty lace and beads Stamped and inked the post it note book to match.

Don’t you just love it when you get a huge laugh out of the project you have just made, well that is what happened with the above.

Borrowed the woman’s face stamp from a friend … should have thought it through though … because I added the shaker piece to the box last it wasn’t until I opened it that I realized you look at her face upside down when opened!!!! … made me laugh … 😛 Moral to this story – look before you leap stamp 😳

Please please pop along to see all the other DT’s creations they are totally out of this world.

Footnote: … My Pizza box was made with the Hougie Board – I saw the demonstration on Create & Craft, but here is a link for a tutorial on how to make a Pizza Box
