Cabinet Card For FSC

Thanks to each and everyone of you who left a lovely comment on my blog whilst I have been away.  Chasing my tail as usual but will pop over to each of your blogs to see everything I have missed over the next few days.

Fashionable Stamping Challenges want to see ‘Colour Between The Lines’ on whatever you decide to make.  Our Laura picked this fabulous theme.

Colouring in is such a stress releasing pastime which is made even more relaxing when you cut out what you have created and place onto a piece of painted grey board for all to see.

Joined together two Cabinet die pieces to make a little book with a Mini Cabinet die frame in the middle.  Ran each of the pieces through a wood grain embossing folder before layering with chalk paint and White Fire Treasure Gold gilding wax.

Cannot show the outside at the moment as my little pink camera started flashing to warn me it was about to shut down so only managed to take this pic.

Colouring in

Stamped the bird onto acetate and coloured in with a few different Fresco Finish chalk acrylics.  Placed the acetate onto the cut out frame before glueing to the main Cabinet die.

FSC – Black And White With A Hint Of Red

Fashionable Stamping Challenges this fortnight want to see ‘Black And White With A Hint Of Red’ on whatever you decide to make.  Dot picked the theme for this fortnight and what an easy make it was.

On my one layer card I have used stamps from the Artistic Outpost, Apothecary and Generation Redux.

Stampers Anonymous, darkroom door and Stampin Up are the other stamps used.

VSC Wants You To Bring On Those Spring Colours

Vintage Stamping Challenges has a challenge theme this month of ‘Bring On Those Spring Colours’.  This means you can make anything with your interpretation of Spring colours.

I went with a very muted colour scheme for my card as I am not really feeling the spring mood yet.  Which is a shame because I was the one who chose the theme for this month.  Very optimistic of me because our weather at the moment is bitterly cold with intermittent sprinklings of the fluffy white stuff.

Used a FlonzCrafts stamp which you can find here but I am not sure she should be painting outside in this weather.

To enter this month’s challenge just click Mr Linky at the bottom of the VSC web page and maybe it could be you who wins the $20 from Flonz’s store. Please visit the DT’s blogs for more inspiration and also it would be nice to leave them some love.
