Cards For Him And Her Plus A Journal Project

Another fabulous sunny day outside which put me in the mood to show last week’s class cards and also the project we will be making tomorrow.

I love to rip and tear and also love using different colours of ink when stamping so this technique was perfect.

Again I showed how you can make a very feminine card and also one for a man.

With this one we also used the triple embossing technique for the frame.

Ahead of myself here as below I am showing what the girls are creating tomorrow.

They have all bought journalling books and I know they are all going to have fun learning how to fill them with some amazing artwork.

Gesso, washi tape, stamps, masks and Gelatos are the main ingredients of the pages below.

I am sure everyone will be amazed with the magical way the gelatos blend superbly into the background when used with baby wipes.

Just For Fun Class Make

My friend Maria (who has been coming to my class for a few years now) had some empty metal boxes which she wanted to know how to alter so this is what we made in the class on Saturday.

For the VSC Challenge which is an Anything Goes I altered another of the tins and turned it into a sewing box for Lauren.

The image, which you can find here, was stamped onto fabric with wadding placed behind so that it made a pin cushion.

Still In The Holiday Mood

Very short and sweet today because having been away for three weeks I am behind with just about everything.

Spent a few days with the family before we all flew out to Turkey for two weeks.  The weather and holiday were amazing so I won’t bore you with the details but I may post some photos later on down the line.

How appropriate is the theme this month at FSC  ‘Seaside Or Beach’  so my inspirational make is a postcard.

I would love it if you hopped on over to see all the DT’s work as they are simply stunning.  Also don’t forget that the winner of this challenge has $20 to choose anything they like from Flonz’s store.
