Cards For Him And Her Plus A Journal Project

Another fabulous sunny day outside which put me in the mood to show last week’s class cards and also the project we will be making tomorrow.

I love to rip and tear and also love using different colours of ink when stamping so this technique was perfect.

Again I showed how you can make a very feminine card and also one for a man.

With this one we also used the triple embossing technique for the frame.

Ahead of myself here as below I am showing what the girls are creating tomorrow.

They have all bought journalling books and I know they are all going to have fun learning how to fill them with some amazing artwork.

Gesso, washi tape, stamps, masks and Gelatos are the main ingredients of the pages below.

I am sure everyone will be amazed with the magical way the gelatos blend superbly into the background when used with baby wipes.

Hi, Shirl! What a fabulous idea to rip and tear the paper like that. I would never have thought of doing that and you’re mixing and matching the colors and textures is amazing. Love this!

Great effect with the torn papers – and the journalling pages are looking fantastic – hope you had a great class. Sorry to have missed so much… I’m hoping to get back in the swing of things a bit this month.

    Hi Shirll,

I still seem to be playing holiday catch up, not sure where the last week had gone. Missed his one it seems, love in particular that glorious floral card – I’m so transparent.

Lovely makes Shirley! I have a preference for the journal page with all these great layers and vintage feel…
I am still not receiving emails when you publish a new post from this blog and someone else told me the have the same problem (also with the FSC and VSC blogs).
