All About Me

The arrows, circles and film frame are all new dies which I wanted to try.

Started with an A4 piece of card and made a mood board or sometimes called master board.

Mood boards are so useful because they let you play with lots of mediums.

Designing the final project is also much easier because everything is unified.

Used various paints, inks, stamps and stencils before cutting out the background of my card – 13cm x 13cm.

The rest of the A4 sheet was used to fussy cut the dies.

Both cards here were made with mood boards

Spring Comes To FSC

We have some exciting news over on the FSC page this month as we have a new DT member starting but sadly we have lost the lovely Dani who has decided to step down.

Our new DT member is called Hanne and you can find her here.

I am sure you would all love to pop on over to say hi, also whilst there have some fun by joining in with the new challenge which is:

“Springtime”

The lovely Yvonne picked it plus I am sure it’s going to be a favourite with you all.

If it wasn’t for the snow still on the ground today would be a perfect Spring day.

I think you can tell by the photo of the card I took, the shadow from the butterfly really highlights how strong the sun is.

Decorated an envelope to match the card, love doing this especially if I am giving the card by hand.

The above card is the sample that I was demonstrating for the girls in my Saturday class which I never get to finish until the class is over.

Below is the actual card the girls made.

Would really love it if you hopped on over to see all the DT’s work as they are simply stunning.

Ink Art Designs Etsy Shop is sponsoring FSC and they will be offering a stamp for the winner of each new challenge.

Just Because

Showing some cards just because …

Made the family all Valentine’s cards – firstly is the one I made for Amber, turns out it was her only one … awwww.

Below .. the first card was made for Alex to give to his girlfriend Amy, middle card is Lauren’s.

Last but not least the other was for my DIL to give to my son.

This one was made in one of my classes.
