…… Update on my journey … hopefully I am on the train, going through Wales, making my way to the boat which will sail me across those choppy Irish waters.
Onto the challenge for Digi Doodle Shop which is Autumn this week – and another re-vamped card, used this super cute image Baby Giraffe, put a scarf on him because of all those Autumn winds lol and had a play with my new Tim Holtz die … mmmmm scrummy.
Should be home by 8:00 tonight … can’t wait to see Andrew and of course little Penny Black.

Fantasy/Fairytale

I have been so busy with other things that I didn’t even know that my Thursday post for the Digi Doodle Challenge wasn’t there.
It is now, and what an adorable image I have used on my card, she is called Emily and the dog is called Scout from the Butterbeans Collection. Julie from Julie’s Craft Spot, picked the same image as me and I just adore the ribbons she put in Emily’s hair. Anyway nice easy challenge this week – ANYTHING GOES.

What made me smile is the look on the horses face it really is a fun card.

As you know I relish making tags more than anything and as soon as I saw this sewing box it cried out to me … make a tag Shirl 😀
Sew … tee hee … I did. Image used is Sewing Basket with just about everything in it. Don’t even ask where the little cotton reel came from, don’t know.
Wound it with a pink cotton and left it to trail over the pins.
The paper used is a digi download, then just cut out elements from it. Made an eight layer flower, spritzed, inked, scrunched, so easy but effective.
For the challenge this week at Digi Doodles Shop’s Best we would love to see
Clean & Simple
which means less is more … easier said than done when all you want to do is layer up.
In the end I just printed this beautiful picture The Horse Kiss onto my card and coloured.
Added a sentiment … stood back … very pleased with the look.
Such a pretty image and oh so delicate, wanted to stay with the softness and prettiness of the image
so watercoloured to try and keep the floaty feel.
The sentiment on the card is a freebie from the Digi Doodle Shop.

Make Your Own Flowers
My project is more about when you open the card because in the centre is this huge flower which pops out.
The beautiful image on the card is called Cone Flower & Vase … thought it went well with the theme.
This card gives such a wow factor when opened.
You’re going to be blown away when you see the blooming creations from all the DT’s this week they are gorgeous.

Digi Doodle Shop’s Best
The Louis, Butterflies and Buttercups image is just way to cute and brings a smile to my face when I look at it so this had to be my choice this week for the challenge.
Three of the butterflies are dies but the fourth is stamped. Also made another pretty flower, the brad was gold but I covered with blue micro beads.
Remember you don’t have to use an image from Digi Doodle Shop but if you do your entry will count twice and also the winner of this weeks butterfly challenge will win a $10 gift certificate from the shop.
