Tag Art

Whilst in my craft room watching Andy and Tracy on Hochanda yesterday, saw a tag that I had started but not finished so decided to have a play with it.

Fun In The Evening

Crafting time for me is during the day – it is extremely unusual for me to be in the craft room in the evening or at weekends for that matter.  Andrew stills works full time so my evenings and weekends are spent with him.

If there is footie on the telly then Andrew usually watches it in the craft room which leaves me free to watch whatever I want in the lounge.  He was watching Aldershot play the other night so I decided to join him (definitely not to watch the footie) but to have a play with some new stamps I had bought.

For my background I started with a large sheet of watercolour paper and three different colours of Distress Paint.  Ended up with two very different makes from the same sheet of paper.  The first being a pretty looking card made with some new Penny Black goodies.

Then a tag using a new Stampotique stamp.

Touch Of Romance

Haven’t made a little book in ages but I was so inspired after seeing Asdtrid’s gorgeous make that I just had to get stuck in.

This is what Astrid’s little book looks like here and there is even a tutorial on how she made it. You have to go and have a peek it is amazing.

Followed the fabulous instructions on how to make the book but when finished I deviated a little by using the Sizzix on the edge Plaque & Postage die.

For some reason I didn’t take a full photo of the next page just a close up. Must have been getting fed up lol x x

Adam And Eve It

Such miserable and brutal weather here today so a girl just has to do what a girl can do … playtime with another crafterholic. Used this beautiful stamp called Ophelia from the Stampsmith.

Would you Adam and Eve it … that means believe it in cockney rhyming slang … what you can create with a bit of paint, molding paste and ink.
