Entering for the:

Wow just thinking about next weekend when the clocks go forward….all those lovely light evenings how great is that.

Anyway back to the GD call….think I must have missed something… the brief was for 1 card stock, 2 designer papers, 1 button and 1 ribbon… most of the entries seem to have added extra.

I can see all your little minds going at the moment… where is the button… well look harder and you will find it tee hee…. and the ribbon is just one piece.

Used one of the beautiful papers from K & Co Winter Wonderland Collection and the other is a Fancy Pants… think it’s Crush. Did a lot of ripping and tearing… had to sit on my hands… just wanted to ink all those lovely torn edges.

Well what can I say about the image only…..goooooorgeous….

Willow Dressing Up.

Stamped her onto Whisper White card stock… first time I have used this….reserving judgement until I have tried it with Copics and Pro Markers…. but it works beautifully with my water colour pencils which I used to colour her in.

Well can you believe my day… another blinkie, this one is from Cupcake Craft Challenge…. one of the top 5… a huge thank you to the design team for choosing my card….

It’s just like waiting for a bus… nothing and then two come along at once.

My exciting piece of news is……. I have been picked to be a DT member for Ethereal Forest Designs isn’t it all so yummy. Sneak peaks for the designs start, 22nd February and they will have new images on the first day of every month… wow I just can’t wait. Just had to make another meeee card…. (any excuse).

Anyway Shirl feet back on the ground and mention the card…. don’t you just go all gooey with these fabulous stamps from Whiff of Joy. This card actually opens where the two scalloped edges meet, wanted something a bit different. Paper piecing is my thing at the moment and I think she looks gorgeous…. (just what I would have liked to look like).

Went with the tassles again… oh so love these, ribbon, roses all from stash. All papers are a digi download (as usual).

Challenges to enter so far…. Challenge 91 – Spring is in the air over at A Spoon Full of Sugar also Allsorts Challenge – A recipe of 3-2-1… well I have three roses, two bows and one oh so cute image. Paper Sundaes – Glittery Spring (have to say only glitter on the card are the stars around the edge of the image which were made with a Sakura glitter pen (I’m sure this will count) .

Cute Daisy May Challenge – Bright and cheerful colours… these might just be bright enough….

Followed Heather’s Whiff of Joy Challenge # 52 sketch but was too late to post.

Found the sketch late in the week and then had to go to Waterford hospital on the Wednesday.

Good news though the splint is off the finger and I am able to drive again (6 weeks not being able to drive… yuk) If you know Ireland you will understand, I live in the country with no trains or bus routes. Nearest town 15 mins away.

Pins will be removed from finger about the beginning of December when hopefully hand will be back to normal.

Wanted a bright card for Catherine to cheer her up after the operation and hopefully this will make her smile.

Used Fred the elephant from Whiff of Joy, coloured with Copic Markers. Papers by Basic Grey – mixture of Offbeat and Cupcake. Punched two circles, added flowers and brad from stash. Stitched main paper onto card.
