Baby Boy Card

010014

Made this card for the Whiff Of Joy make a card for Alison candy and then realised I had used the wrong stamp oops.

Because I used the same design for the card it was easy to make another one.

I still went with the same colour scheme orange and turquoise (trust me it is), check out the digi web site for Pink Petticoat the papers are from there.

Like most crafters I didn’t want to make exactly the same, changed the background the nestabilities are sitting on and put feathers, wool and an orange layer instead.

That’s it for the moment have to start making a card for my class tomorrow night, they want to make a Christmas card.

Suppose I had to start making them sometime, have held off as long as I could because it just seems too early….. oh well here goes.

To Wit To Woo

050004

This is another card which was taught at my Monday class.

We used a Hero Arts stamp which we stamped onto shrink plastic as well as the main card.

The papers are a digital download from Pink Petticoat.

All the sentiments are rub ons.

Green Girl

My friends are all going to start complaining soon because they have all seen these cards before but because this is my first blog I thought I would share the cards with all of you out there.

Coloured her in and then picked the papers for her to sit on, they are from papermania – Simply Elegant and don’t they just show her off wonderfully.

I saw the sparkly bling flowers in a very exclusive shop they were dotted around an ornament.

Asked the assistant where they got them from (as you do) she was very helpful but we never did track down where they came from.

Anyway she gave me three of them and eventually I found the card to put them on – aren’t they pretty?

There There Bear

This is my entry for the Roses On Paper Belles n Whistles. My first ever DT competition and I have really enjoyed the challenge of making a card with Orange, Brown and Green Autumn colours.

Belle sitting with teddy is just an adorable stamp.

I watercoloured her with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, distressed the edges with Rangers antique linen, peeled paint and dried marigold ink pads.

Embossed a piece of core card with the Owl Cuttlebug folder and also distressed it.

Rafia, card candy, flowers and paper all from my stash make up the ensemble.

Usually prefer to write by hand on my tags but because of op on finger no chance (anyway if hubby caught me writing by hand I would have to start cooking and cleaning again) so, had to put through the computer.

When putting card together realised she was going to cover my owl so I cut around the owls head and tucked her at the back – worked out quite well.

Hope you all love the card as much as I do.

Lauren had a little lamb

This is one of my favourite stamps (truth be known they all are).

Stamped the image onto glossy card and coloured in with US Art Quest watercolour palette.

I called it “Lauren Had A Little Lamb” after my Granddaughter.
