John-Paul’s Birthday Card – Dodo in Fright

020004

This little guy, nicknamed, Dodo was already coloured and sitting on my desk waiting for all the assembled bits to be stuck on when Patricia arrived to take me to the hairdressers (still can’t drive, will know more on 28th of this month). A big wet and sloppy thank you Patricia. She fell in love with him and wanted to make her own Dodo. After hairdressers she sat down and made a Dodo of her own, not sure what she is going to call it watch this space. Newsflash she has called him Pee Wee.

Dodo was created using Copic markers and his beak diamond glazed, googly eyes and strands of yellow fibres were added. Distressed edges and various rangers ink pads were used for shading. Lots of other delightful things were added to the card after his creation. Papers from Shabby Princess, edges distressed and stamped with faux stitching. Black card punched with Stamping Up punch, distressed, scrunched and then spritzed with Glimmer Mist. Green and yellow card spritzed with Glimmer Mist, branch cut out of green card using craftwork cards template. The same yellow fibres were then folded around the black card. Candy tots, distressed cord tied in a knot and sentiment complete dodo’s habitat.

Oh by the way John-Paul your dad wanted to call the card something else, will leave that to your imagination to guess what.

Love for anyone else to leave a comment and let me know what you think Dodo should be called.
