Wow long post because I have combined two DT cards but please scroll down and see Andrew’s Valentine’s card ….
Sunday here again and that means another Sentimental Sundays but today you get to see two cards because Let’s Ink It Up also has their monthly challenge so you get two cards for the price of one.
Now I mention price because as you know Andrew won’t buy me a card from the shops …. no no not because he’s mean …. well that’s what he tells me …. but because bless him he says they are not worthy enough for one so talented …. have you ever heard such a load of old waffle …. but I fall for it every time and love him to bits for even thinking it …. thanks hun …. shhhh don’t say anything, but I think the real reason is …. I spend so much money on crafting goodies that he thinks I should use them …. he has a point ….
Before I go any further I have to say the response for last months challenge was tremendous you gave all the DT’s a hard time choosing the winner and top 3 so we had to make it a top 5. I want to say another huge thank you to Suzanne and Claire for asking me to stay on as a DT member at Let’s Ink It Up, chuffed doesn’t begin to describe how I feel and also sad because we are saying goodbye to some very talented ladies who I wish all the best.
Anyways this is the card I made for myself, it is an easel for the Let’s Ink It Up challenge which is on Australian time and as you know they are way ahead of us …. we would love to see your Romantic/Valentine’s projects. This is the card I made for myself and I love it. Took a lot of working out for me to stamp the letters onto the shrink plastic and then to shrink them down so they fitted just right into the circle apertures and still spun around …. hey presto it worked they spin nicely. Used my Cricut Expression …. you know the one I am not very keen on …. but saw the lovely Summer In Paris Cartridge and couldn’t resist, stamped and embossed the lovely Sketched Lady and Eiffel Tower from Clarity stamps again, because it’s my card and I can, guess what else surprise surprise it’s a pink card.
We have two sponsors for this challenge, Whiff of Joy Stamps who have kindly given a Willow With Champagne Rubber Stamp and Mad For Markers who have donated a set of three markers, a pack of Xpress It Card and a Copic Swatch Book, what fantastic prizes for some lucky winner.
Time to run on over and have a look at all the superb inspiration from the other DT girls, leave a hugable comment and enter your lovey dovey creations.
Sentimental Sundays challenge this week is Valentines and here is Andrew’s Valentine’s card, cute eh. We are being sponsored this week by Deedee’s Digis and when I saw this cute image I just knew what I was going to make. A double easel card was needed for this project, printed off two images, changed one of them so they were facing each other then paper pieced both with lovely yummy bright colours. Both cards will look lovely on the mantelpiece next week. I really would love to see all your beautiful creations …. that’s the nosey part of me …. so mooch on over and see all the other DT girls creations, it would be great if you would leave some love and enter.
