Wow published again but this really was a complete surprise. Irene rang me to say had I seen it … easy one to answer … no.
Why it was such a shock to me was because I made this card two years ago … 23rd October 2010 to be precise!!!!! Simply Cards & Papercraft issue 102 is where you will find this card.
See the original posting here to learn how I made it but I have also posted the pictures below. Still can’t believe that a card which I made two years ago can still be worth publishing.
If I was to make this card today I would actually only change the flowers. Except the one which I completely embossed and which looks like plastic. The rest I would probably stamp onto then add glimmer mists and scrunch up more.
The card is a double gatefold and here is what it looks like when opened.
Well done Shirley, it’s a really beautiful card and I think they get a bit behind on publishing readers cards sometimes as it’s happened to me in the past.
Hugs, Fliss xx
Shirl it was worth waiting for.Patricia
A surprise, but a lovely one Shirley! Congratulations…enjoy it.
greetings, Alie 🙂
lol…well there you go! It is a great card Shirley, the colours are brilliant. A classic combination that will always be in vogue. It made me smile to hear your more rustic (grungey) side coming out in what you would change. Love it!
