Just a quick post to show you the finished little box which I made on Sunday at Crafty Queens with Eve.
Again a huge thanks to Eve for all her hard work we all so appreciate the monthly workshops.
Did very little with the box at the workshop because I wanted to paint the edges black and had nothing with me to do so. We also made a little album that goes inside the box so I worked more on that which should be finished tomorrow.
The box is a Tim Holtz Configurations Shadow Box 5.5″ x 5.5″ which I have covered with the Graphic 45, A Ladies Diary Papers, Black Gesso and more Frantage.
This is how the inside looks when opened plus you can just see that I have used a brass side hook and eye for the closure.
My granddaughter Amber will be 15 on Monday, so guess who will be getting this in the post.
Hi Shirley
That is a beautiful box, I love every aspect of it.

It looks totally FAB-U-LOUS Shirley! Love the frantage and black edges. I like the way you are using the space of the ‘two lids’ – my work in progress also uses both spaces but it will be diffferent again. The little hook and eye is clever and looks wonderful. I’m still finding it hard to cut up the gorgeous paper. Have a fab weekend. Nicola x
Oh so beautiful Shirley, this is just gorgeous, lots of those lovely papers.
I think I will have to whip round to Amber to take a real peek at it.
Ring me please.
