Christmas Tag #9 Funky Junky Style
#1 tag is here with the rules. Linda’s # 9 tag and the Funkie Junkie Boutique is here. That’s it I am up to date that is until Monday when Linda will be posting her #10 tag.
Loved everything about Linda’s tag which made deciding where my inspiration was going to come from quite difficult. In the end I decided not only on the colour palette but also the rose flower, the raffia and also the huge silver snowflake. This is what I came up with.
You will be pleased to know that I have made three purchases this year to add to my Christmas stash, this Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprint stamp set was one of them. Couldn’t resist some more hand sewing so with some silver thread I did a back-stitch around the sentiment, Holiday Greetings.
Had a little play around in the graphics program which I use … love to play!!!

Gorgeous! I love all the detail and the colours. This reminds me of the Nutcracker soldier in the Christmas ballet by Tchaikovsky. I used to go to see this at Christmas when I was a little girl. Julie Ann xx

Oh my gosh, this is positively delightful, Shirl! From the very top with the beautiful branches, ribbon and flower all the way down to the very bottom with those darling little trees it just oozes perfection! That shade of blue is gorgeous and looks wonderful with the gold embossing. Love the music paper at the bottom too. A smash hit for Tag #9!
