My Skyping crafty partner in crime and myself both made a tag this afternoon and as usual both turned out different, (apart from the frame). The input we both put into these sessions is inspiring.
Knew that I wanted to have a framed image on my tag and to make the frame I was going to use string. Irene started to make her frame wherein she used matchsticks. How cool was that so my frame was made with matchsticks as well, (thanks I). Painted the frame with black gesso then added some gold gilding wax. Used various other paints, stamps and stencils for the background especially my fave Stampotique image Weasel.
Adding to the Stampotique Challenge this month which has the theme of ‘Painted Background’.
Somebody’s been playing with the Gelatos… Great techniques here and these images are fun!
Because the connection was bad today I really didn’t get to see your tag clearly, OMG! this is flipping awesome, and the little fella in the frame really is perfect. Great crafting today.
