Crafting time for me is during the day – it is extremely unusual for me to be in the craft room in the evening or at weekends for that matter. Andrew stills works full time so my evenings and weekends are spent with him.
If there is footie on the telly then Andrew usually watches it in the craft room which leaves me free to watch whatever I want in the lounge. He was watching Aldershot play the other night so I decided to join him (definitely not to watch the footie) but to have a play with some new stamps I had bought.
For my background I started with a large sheet of watercolour paper and three different colours of Distress Paint. Ended up with two very different makes from the same sheet of paper. The first being a pretty looking card made with some new Penny Black goodies.
Then a tag using a new Stampotique stamp.
Hi Shirley, beautiful results from your evening play, I like the colours and combination of images. The top one is beautiful with the flower over the writing (assuming that it was two stamps?). Have a great weekend, Shirleyxx
Wow, Shirl! Thank you for sharing how two completely different style images on the same background can change the flavor-mood of the colors! I am especially fond of your floral image – have not seen it before (that I can recall – LOL) and the impish ghoul is really a fantastically scary Halloweenie tag! The numbers really show the eternal value of who we are, don’t they? Hope your week-end is extra special! xo

Not sure how I managed to post the above half done comment, so here goes again.
Now you see Shirl I have to make a confession, the TV in my craft room is for Footie, but for me to watch as when the boys are here I get turfed out from watching it on the main TV as I tend to get a tad animated for their linking. So have to be Billy no mates and watch on my own. I know, how sad is it a woman obsessed with Footie, but I could be doing far worse things ! And the bonus is I can craft at the same time.
Two super makes today, but it’s the PB floral card that really draws me and the gentle colours.

Two fantastic pieces Shirley. love that cute angel image on the tag.

2 beautiful makes Shirley! Love the tag although I’m not a Stampotique fan (these characters give me nightmares!).

Two fabulous makes Shirley Love how you’ve used the same piece for two totally different looks.
Hope Andrew enjoyed the footie as much as you enjoyed crafting.

[…] sunglasses time when looking at it. Used this cute stamp again called Lovely are the sound (previous tag) but gave him a hat this time […]
So glad you linked to this – I missed it at the time, and I love both of them! Those delicate flowers are so pretty, the winged Stampotique chap is a treat, and the soft colours on both tags are gorgeous.
