Nearly into December so the class this week are making Christmas cards … again!!!
This time we are aiming for a really pretty grungy look with lots of messy paints and glitter.
The alterations window die is probably one of my all time favourite dies to use, especially in conjunction with Sheena’s ‘A Little Bit Festive’ stamps.
The white and lilacs make for a lovely soft feel Shirl and it wouldn’t be Christmas without glitter.

The branches are lovely too and I love the soft colours. xx

Not so grungy, but spectacular! Beautifully frosty and lovely nature theme! Hugs, de
I think I would call this style shabby chic rather than grungy – it is beautiful! Hugs, Anne xx
I love your card Shirl, so beautiful… Your class is very lucky to have you. A wonderful combination of dies and fussy cutting-out of stamps. I’ve just looked at Sheena’s festive stamps with the pin branches (haven’t any of these stamps sadly, they look beautiful!…), and you use them in a great way!!

Just had a lovely ‘Catch up ‘ on your beautiful makes Shirley. Loved them all and this is a stunning Christmas card. I’m sure your class will have enjoyed themselves with this. I’ve been tempted to buy that die for a while , think I might just have to give in.

So sweet – and the ethereal colour palette is magical. Love your little birds creating their shimmering festive nest. I’ve been playing with the window die too, a new acquisition for me, but I can see it’s going to be very useful.
