That Time Of Year Again

Don’t you just love having birthdays?  Doesn’t matter how old you are the excitement never goes away (well not for me anyways).

Not going to say how old I am today but not quite at the three score years and ten yet!!!

Sharing with you the class cards which we made yesterday.

Made our own backgrounds on the A4 cardstock by brayering and using three different coloured inks.

My fave card from this selection is the “Cheerio Chaps” but the Dina Wakley Scribbly Birds is a close second.

More photos but this time I am showing a beautiful make that I received from Irene and as you can see a few crafting goodies were also included in the parcel.

A huge thanks “I”.

I had a really fabulous pressie from Crafty Friend (crafting of course) and Andrew bought me a light box which I have been after for ages.

Here’s a picture of what I bought for myself … as you do!!!!

Below is a pic of New Phil’s card from the  class yesterday (we call her that because there are two Phil’s)

Just had to take a photo because I loved the way her brayering on the card turned out.  The bottom piece looks just like a grassy meadow scene.

Many happy returns Shirley, hope you have a lovely day.

I always used to tell myself that age was an attitude of mind, but some mornings my body doesn’t go along with that theory and sadly I’m still 39 in the head but not body.

All pretty cards and the new machine will be very useful, I was lucky to be sent the TL version the Baby Blue.

Happy Birthday! Seems like you’ve had a fabulous time with the beautiful gifts (including one from yourself) and the cards. The class cards are also very beautiful. Have fun, Cheers, xx

Belated birthday greetings, Shirl – looks like you had lots of fun with the class cards – all the dimension and intricate folds look great, and I’m with you on the two favourites, though the scribbly bird might just edge out the gent for me! Delicious card from Irene and lovely goodies – lots of lovely new toys to play with!

Happy Birthday Shirl! Personally, I lost the excitement with my last big one. At least now I organise some of my own presents to ensure it’s not all a big disappointment and I get my crafty fix! Let us know how you get on with the Baby Blue, I have a Wizard and the Baby is the natural replacement. xx

Woohoo…you are older! It is always a good thing to get older!!! Seriously, I hope you have had a wonderful birthday ol’ girl.
You have received some awesome crafty bits for your birthday, and Irene’s card is gorgeous. All the class cards look so different, the girls look like they have had heaps of fun. Love the scribbly birds stamp!
