A Butterfly Time At FSC

FSC this month is having a Butterfly time and the lovely Dot chose the theme for us all, I really hope you will join in this month.

A vibrant and cheerful card just to put me in the mood for Spring.  Went with a yellow, orange and blue colour palette plus I used four stamps to create this piece, they are:

Dina Wakley Silhouetted Women, Studio 490 Original Art, Rangers Wings Quote and Finnabair Butterfly 3.

Shirley 1

The butterflies are all 3D and the top two are flying her into the air.

To get this dimension, first stamp onto your card then re-stamp onto a spare piece of cardstock, cut out and layer over the original stamped image.

Shirley 2

I would love it if you hopped on over to see all the DT’s work as they are simply stunning.  Also don’t forget that the winner of this challenge has $20 to choose anything they like from Flonz’s store.

oh oh OH! such a fabulous creation! I love all the branches coming “out” of the person as she takes flight, Shirl! And that it is acceptable to allow others who already have their wings help us as we learn to fly! Sometimes, our ability to fly comes from unexpected sources – whether it is new knowledge, new found courage, or the love from our family and friends! This is gorgeous! hugs, de

Fabulous card Shirley, love how you’ve double stamped the main image and the placement with the butterflies helping her to fly is a great idea.
Love the soft dreamy colour palette.

Hi, Shirl! I came back today because of your recent comment on my blog. Unfortunately, you don’t have a return email address – but I’m sorry to hear about the family illnesses and hospital stays. My heart is with you during this unpleasant, difficult time. Please know that I care, and hoping that soon the poor health issues are improving, and then completely gone. Praying that strength, patience and wisdom fly to you so that you will know what to do, and how to help those you love. Please let me know if I can do anything – I’m here for you. xo

That’s such a wonderful feelgood card – such uplifting colours and movement. From the comment above it looks as though you’ve been going through the wringer – so this comes with much love and hugs.
