It’s A Bug’s Life At FSC This Month

One of the DT at FSC (Yvonne) is taking a break for September and October’s challenges so if you would like to be a guest designer for these months please mail details and you never know it just might be you as our Guest Designer.

FSC wants to see ‘Bugs’ being used in your makes for this month’s challenge and the choice of theme was the lovely Dot’s.

Went into the Viva Las Vegas Stamp shop whilst in Vegas on my hols and OMG what an amazing place.  Truly a stamper’s paradise.

Flew on to Los Angeles after 5 days where I bought a Strathmore Mixed Media pad at Michael’s and whilst having some down time in the villa made a very quick journal page with two of the stamps I bought.

The journal page for my bugs piece uses the Butterfly Lady and also Wire Rings.

Bought quite a few Jane Davenport goodies from Michael’s also which I will post at a later date.

Would really love it if you hopped on over to see all the DT’s work as they are simply stunning.

Ink Art Designs Etsy Shop is sponsoring FSC and they will be offering a stamp for the winner of each new challenge.

Sounds as though you enjoyed a great time in Vegas, Shirl! Your journal page made me smile, reading first the top sentiment and then the lower one. Beautiful colors, and an amazing design! hugs, de

A wonderful journal page Shirley, looks like you enjoyed using your new stamps. The Butterfly Lady stamp is fabulous, love the colour on her wings. Glad to read you had a couple of spends while in Vegas, looking forward to seeing your other goodies.

Las Vegas and the VLVS shop! Green with envy… This new stamp is both beautiful and quirky. Lovely page Shirley! (I’m on hols now, although nothing quite as exoticas Las Vegas, so I won’t put my name forward for the GDT).

  6. Hi Shirley. Wow! You must have been in stamping heaven in VLVS. I can’t wait to hear more about your holidday. I love the quirky butterfly stamp, she is so full of character. And the rings behind her wings make her look even bigger. Love it!
