Masking, stamping and inking was definitely the fun part of this card and even I can’t believe that 2013 was the last time I dusted this little stamp off. She’s from PaperArtsy called Dolls Plate 1. The suitcases came from another ancient stamp set and the sentiment is a Wendy Vecchi called Art On Her Mind from Studio 490.
To get the octagonal design in the middle I used the Large Octagon dies from Spellbinders to make the masks.
A real inspirational make Shirley, love the funky images and colours.

Wow, Shirl! How do you keep coming up with the greatest art stories? I love the expressions on your artist’s face LOL, and the amazing background – did you achieve that with masking techniques? Or is it layered? Your sentiment combined with the “tiara” are so perfect! Nice warm colors with a touch of blue! Beautiful! hugs, de
Absolutely wonderful Shirley.

I love how you added those suitcases to the lovely PA stamp and the background really sets her off beautifully. Loving the sentiment too! Hugs, Anne xx
She looks like she’s going to a workshop! Is that a self portrait? Lol… Great fun image and the background is satisfying inky.
Have a great Sunday, xx
