Strictly Come Dancing

Totally love Strictly Come Dancing!!!!

Yesterday and today was a total disaster with trying to Skype Dot.  Technology is great when it works!!!!

Tried to show her what I was making but not sure if she saw anything.

Here it is sweetie hope you like!!!

Inks used are Ripe Persimmon for the background with two different embossing folders.

How bold are those numbers?  They are from another one of my new PaperArtsy sets # HP1604EZ.

Dancing girls are from an old Indigo Blu stamp called Dancing Children.

As you can see only used two girls from the middle and did some paper piecing for the dresses.  Coloured their shoes with paint.

You are spot on with technology Shirl, I often wish it further. Lovely vibrancy and what a sweet little pair dancing.

Vintage girls but contemporary feel in this card, it actually works! The embossed backgrounds are gorgeous and the little girls are very sweet. I couldn’t say anything about Skype, I’ve never done it and only have a faint grasp on the concept! xx

  3. LOVE that Shirl! I adore the way you’ve designed this and that Ripe Persimmon is the perfect colour to show off the embossing. Thank you for sharing xx

I can see it clearly now! Skype will come good again, it is still fun to play with a crafty friend so far away. The 2 embossing folders gives a gorgeous contrast using one colour…love this colour! And a lovely balance of black and white to make it all pop. Love this Shirley x

How fun! In one way, it reminds me of a childhood game called musical chairs, Shirl, and then in another way, it reminds of the song, “rockin’ around the clock”, and yet again, it seems like a perfect New Year’s card full of happy celebrating! Great creation! hugs, de

This is lovely Shirl. The numbers really are bold and so is the colour, so it’s a perfect match. I love Strictly too and I’m struggling to pick a winner this year. I always feel a bit lost on a Saturday night when it’s finished. Oops, I forgot to mention your dancing girls who both look fabulous too and like they’re really having fun. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
