When I first saw Sentimental Sunday’s Challenge this week – Childhood (+ sentiment) …. thank you Dorcas …. my immediate thought was something dreamy, floaty, whimsical and then I found this delightful image here which I knew was just perfect for Childhood …. nothing like floaty with those colours …. but I love it.

Feel all gooey and content at the moment but down to earth and my card …. really like making these Z fold cards, you just open the card out, score down the middle on the front panel and fold back …. easy peasy …. Bob’s your uncle, Fanny’s your aunt etc., …. decorate as normal. Coloured the image using pro-markers and the papers are from Basic Grey and K & Co.

Lots of new things happening at the moment with Sentimental Sundays …. we are going to be choosing a top 3 in future …. with a nice new blinkie …. we have 3 new DT co-ordinators, Ceal, Cheryl and Kimberly …. last but not least all these lovely ladies have been promoted to Senior DT members – Ann E, Annika, Chris and Joanna …. well done girls and sooo looking forward to sending you all my problems starting with …. I have this spot on my …. oh …. you mean only problems with the challenges …. spoilsports.

Jokes over, the DT’s have really pulled out all the stops with their work and such a winning mixture of creations they have come up with, please stroll on over here …. take a cup of coffee …. and look at all their stunning work.

As you know I’m not a lover of sketches …. can’t seem to keep to them …. but this one is a doddle, so if I can do it anyone can …. what’s that you say, doesn’t look the same …. yeh, I kinda turned it a little but only a little.

Now you want to know why the card is sooooo vibrant …. went to my usual monthly gathering with all the girls and took a page full of new digi images from Tickled Pink Stamps …. Lil Lolita & Lil Lads …. but only intended to colour in the faces, hence only had flesh coloured pro-markers. Had time on my hands so one of the ladies offered to let me use some of her markers …. she only had a few primary colours. Started to colour in and found it quite hard …. when you only have a limited supply to hand. Anyway waste not want not …. so here she is.

(blame your Dad the proof reader ok me)!!!!

I found this little beauty of an image …. ugh, if you can call it that …. on one of Annika’s cards (one talented lady) and as soon as I saw it I knew that I was going to buy it but even better it was a freebie from Make It Crafty how lucky was that.
